HOMING (Absolute Encoder Adjustment)

Note: Doing this process will make your actual position as home position make sure your machine is at home position or beware of mechanical position.
·         Select SERVO_02 -> Technology -> Basic Positioner --> Homing -> Homing/configuration (right side window) -> Homing.
·         Before doing homing your actual value will be different.
·         Click Perform absolute value calibration (Before doing this make machine position in home position, then make homing)
·         After done Homing, it will ask to save the value (Copy RAM TO ROM). And actual value will go 0 value.
·         You can see this when doing RAM TO ROM option. Saving all the data in the Permanent memory.
·         Here you can see the actual position value is 0 and Homed status bit is enabled (After done homing procedure).

Homing (absolute encoder adjustment) Summary


1.       Select SERVO_02 --> Technology --> Basic Positioner --> Homing --> Homing/configuration (right side window) --> Homing.
2.       Set the home position coordinates(generally sets 0)
3.       Perform absolute value calibration.
4.       Absolute encoder is calibrated.
5.       Copy RAM to ROM.
6.       Check the Actual Position as given in home position coordinates (generally sets 0).
7.       SAVE project
